Our Kindy room caters for children from 3-5 years. Our room is flexible with its design as it changes time to time to cater for the needs of our children.
Our environment provides plenty of space and materials for imaginative play, reading, construction, drawing, problem solving, science, art, sensory exploration, numeracy and literacy.

During their time at Happy Tone, each child has the opportunities to create, explore, develop personal interaction skills and learn problem solving skills and concepts through hands on experience.  .

The programs are designed on a weekly basis to encourage play, exploration and investigation both in and outdoors. The program is developed from children’s interests as well as incorporating learning experiences which assist our children in achieving goals set by parents and educators. Children are given the opportunity to contribute their ideas and activities which they wish to engage in. Our program experiences supports children’s learning through a wide range educational, creative and challenging play based experiences which are in line with the Early Years Framework as well as our children’s interests.

Here at Happy Tone, our kindy children have the opportunity to participate in some of our wonderful extra experiences such as:
1. Music Movement – 30 minutes music movement with our specialised music teacher. Our children will also get the opportunity to perform twice a year on stage at our midyear and end of year Happy Tone Performances.
2. Group Piano Class & Individual piano class – Children who are aged 4 years and above will also be able to join in with our group piano classes and individual piano classes which they will learn basic piano skills.
3. Chinese Fun – There will be a 30 minutes session of Chinese daily. Our children will learn basic Chinese words, phrases as well as learning some simple Chinese characters.

Throughout the day our children are able to enjoy a number of group time sessions where they learn new songs and rhymes, read stories and share their special moments from the weekends/holidays.

Our children will also have a quiet time after lunch where they may sleep or quietly enjoy relaxing music, draw or read.
